I-Play Music Level 3 Music Production Course

 

This course will develop your skills and knowledge for studying Music at higher education or working in the music industry. Through practical work you will discover how to perform and produce music. You will also learn what it takes to be a successful musical artist in the modern age.

What Will I Need

​

• Experience performing at Grade 6 through to Grade 8.

​

• Four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language and Maths (or an equivalent Level 2 qualification at Merit and functional skills in English and Maths at Level 2)

• A reference from your previous school or college

 

About The Course

Designed for ages 16+ and accredited by RSL Awards, our Music Production Course is worth 160 UCAS points, equivalent to 3 A -Levels. Throughout the 60-week music programme, we will cover music theory and performance, industry insight and trends as well as financial education for music.

 

Course Length & Timetable

A one year part-time or two year full time programme, involving classes on 2 - 4 days per week during term-time.

 

Qualifications

A nationally recognised Level 3 Extended Diploma equivalent to 3 A -Levels. Accredited by RSL Awards.

 

Course Progression

University or direct employment in the music and creative industries.
